    Jessica grew up in the Nashville area. She says it took moving to New York City for a couple of years to really appreciate all that Nashville has to offer. Upon her return to Music City in 2012, she started working with a catering and event company. It was there where she learned several aspects of the planning process. Spending the past 5 years working with couples, with a strong focus in catering, has made her a well-rounded planner.

    In March of 2017, Jessica joined Laurie D'Anne Events as a sales specialist. She loves every aspect of the planning process and thoroughly enjoys being a part of a couple's special day. She also loves a good book, solo movie dates, traveling, and country music.     Alyssa DiCicco
    Owner, Nashville Bride Guide

    With a background in Communications and Marketing as well as 6 years of social media experience, Alyssa has worked with various brands bringing them extensive exposure. Joining the team at Liberty Party Rental in 2013, Alyssa has continually grown the brand through marketing and design. She holds a B.A. in Communication Studies from Taylor University where she planned monthly campus-wide events with the Student Activities Council. Hailing from the Chicago area, she has an eye for design and continues to be on the cutting edge of new trends in the wedding and event industry.     Ashley Moore
    Details Nashville

    I am 27 years old and born and raised in Knoxville, TN (Go Big Orange). Nashville is now my home of almost 10 years. I’ve been working at Details Nashville since its inception in 2011 and I love my job! Each week I am responsible for scheduling over 100 servers and bartenders for our catering clients throughout Nashville. I also really enjoy networking and meeting fine folks like all of you!  When I’m not working I’m likely planning my fast approaching October wedding (as if we’re not busy enough that month) and hanging out with my fiancé Nick. I also volunteer with a local non-profit that helps the poor and underprivileged in Nashville and Uganda, East Africa. Ashley is the Secretary of TWESA and can be reached at

    Clayton Kelly
    Sales Associate at Bright Event Productions

    Clayton Kelly is one of those rare Nashville natives. She began working in the event industry as a special event intern for the Noah Liff Opera Center and Cheekwood Botanical Gardens during college. After graduating from Ole Miss with a degree in Hospitality Management, Clayton  spent a year and a half planning events for a Hospital in Oxford, Mississippi. She moved back to Nashville in 2013 after accepting the Sales Manager position with Bright Event Productions, and has been there ever since.  Clayton’s love of design and upbeat personality go hand in hand when helping her clients set the tone for their event with lighting.     Kristina Brothers
    Event Consultant, Southern Events Party Rental Company

    Kristina Brothers is originally from Germantown, Tennessee but moved to Fayetteville Arkansas to obtain a Hospitality Management degree from the University of Arkansas. After graduation, she accepted a management role for Landmark Event Staffing and supervised hundreds of people during University of Arkansas events. A couple of years later, she decided that her dream to further her career in the industry and to move back to Tennessee needed to become a reality. In April of 2016, she moved to Nashville to start her position as an Event Consultant at Southern Events Party Rental Company. It was the perfect fit! She is so grateful for the move to her dream city and loves working for Jill and Chip! It brings her so much joy being able to take care of her clients and helping them create their perfect event! Her clients are her highest priority and loves providing quality rentals and providing the top customer service.

    Danielle Gill
    Lead Planner and Sales Assistant at Main Event Productions

    Born and raised in Orlando, FL, Danielle moved to Tennessee 12 years ago. Growing up she always wanted to be an Interior Designer but somewhere along the way shifted gears and thought she wanted to do something in the medical field. During her Sophomore year of college she helped her sister plan her wedding from across the country and her love for design and organization surfaced again. A few months after returning to Tennessee from her sister’s wedding she changed her major and participated in 3 internships focusing her studies on event management. During her senior internship at CJ’s Off the Square in Franklin, where A Catered Affair was the in-house catering company, she met Kellie Bryson. After interviewing for a position in the office she eventually moved into Sales and Planning.

    When she’s not in the office you can find her with her closest friends and family, traveling or currently designing her own wedding. Her favorite aspect of the event industry is a tie between getting to express her creativity by designing each wedding according to the style and vision of each couple and of course meeting so many amazing people. She loves getting to know their personalities and bonding with them. Not only does she make new friends but also gets to be a part of one of the most important days of their life.     Laurie has been working in the Event Industry designing and producing events for over 9 years. She trained and served at a Nashville based luxury event planning company, for 6 years as the Director of Wedding and Events and since she has produced hundreds of events and trained multiple event designers in area of full creative design from concept to completion and budget management.

    Stephanie Harmon
    Hotel Indigo Downtown Nashville

    Stephanie Harmon is the Catering Sales Manager at Hotel Indigo Downtown, booking social events for all occasions, corporate receptions, and business meetings. She has previously worked as the Assistant Restaurant Manager at Wild Dunes Resort on Isle of Palm, SC. She graduated summa cum laude from Niagara University’s College of Hospitality in Niagara Falls, NY and the International University of Applies Sciences in Bad Honnef, Germany. She worked as a catering & events intern at the Broward County Convention Center, Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina, Country Club of Rochester and Rolling Rock Club as well as a fine dining Disney College Program intern at the Flying Fish Café on Walt Disney World’s Boardwalk. She lives with her husband of almost 3 years and their two rescue pups.

    Joan Harris Presley

    A funny thing happened on the way to the flower shop…For Joan Presley, what began as an entrepreneurial desire to run her own business blossomed into a passion for flowers and an ever-fragrant creative outlet. 

    Before becoming co-owner and Vice President of the oldest, family-owned and operated wholesale florist in Tennessee, Geny’s Wholesale, Inc., Joan started on her path when she offered to help a friend with flowers for a wedding. Well, that led to a floral design class at Nashville Tech, where the instructor happened to have started her career working for Bobby Geny at, of all places, Geny’s Wholesale… where Joan ended up apprenticing for a couple of years with Jerry Williams, which led to her starting First Kiss Weddings, which resulted in her buying flowers from Geny’s and working with other floral designers that also bought flowers from Geny’s.

    And then one day, there was the opportunity to purchase the supply department of Geny’s. That was twelve years ago. (And Joan has questioned her decision ever since – kidding!!)

    While Geny’s continues to evolve to keep pace with the changes in the floral industry, it has never lost sight of its focus on quality and customer service.  Joan spends her time designing memorable floral arrangements and working with corporations and brides to create works of art for their events and weddings.     Brandon Rolland
    Owner, Entertain!

    Brandon Rolland (26), a serial entrepreneur, founder of Entertain! & co-owner of Entertain! Management & Entertain! Creative. He strives to bring the utmost quality of service in every venture with the highest level of professionalism. Brandon launched Entertain! in April of 2017, and has since booked over 150 events for their first year. As an expert in vendor relations, he believes that every single person you meet in life is a relationship, and truly believes that each individual you meet should be treated with as much respect as the next.

    Brandon has been an active board member of Tennessee Weddings & Events Specialist Association (TWESA) for 2 years and is also the acting president of National Association of Catering & Events (NACE). Brandon was born a leader, perfectionist, and a go-getter. He continues to put every ounce of energy in every task he puts his hand on. In the event industry, he lives by this motto, It’s not another gig to us, it’s an opportunity for us to give someone the best moment of their life”.     Jennifer Threadgill
    Executive Chef at the Scarritt Bennett Center

    Jennifer has been the Executive Chef at the Scarritt Bennett Center for 6 years.  She comes to the Culinary Arts via the Liberal Arts and enjoys learning new things, reading and gardening, but is still unable to escape the dish room on occasion. She has spent many years in Nashville kitchens at Arthur’s Restaurant, Richland Country Club, Sunset Grille, South Street and The Frist Center.

    Meeting people from all over the world and providing a welcoming, satisfying culinary experience is an important aspect of her job.  Scarritt Bennett hosts many diverse and unique weddings which led to her interest beyond the Culinary and into TWESA. She can be reached at

    Debbie Valentine
    Two Fat Men Catering

    After moving to Nashville in 1990 and working as a manager in various restaurants, Debbie decided her love of catering and events was really where she wanted to be. Once her boys entered middle school the timing was right and she landed at Old Natchez Country Club as the Director of Catering and Special events. An opportunity to work with an old friend came to her attention and she was soon Director of Catering at Copper Kettle. Debbie's current project is with Two Fat Men Catering.
